Peponapis pruinosa and Cucurbita pepo
What could be cuter than a bee sleeping in a flower? Male squash bees sleep in squash blossoms; females sleep in the tunnels they make and provision with squash pollen for their young. Squash bees are excellent pollinators of all members of the Cucurbitaceae family, including zucchini, butternut, and pumpkin.
This 5.5” x 5.5″ giclee is printed with archival inks onto matte archival art paper (there is a white border around the image to allow for framing). It’s backed by foamcore board, and signed in pencil on the front.
