Look Closer Giclée Print

Look Closer is part of a series of plant-and-pollinator paintings showing the relationships between wildflowers and their floral visitors (Floral Compass is a companion piece). This painting depicts 41 species of native California bees and some of their favorite blooms. Each flower and bee is painted at three times life size to show the beautiful details that distinguish each species, but which become quite clear when viewed up close.

This giclee measures about 30” x 40” and is printed with archival inks on matte archival art paper. The print is signed in pencil. Unlike my other prints, this giclee is shipped rolled in a mailing tube.
